Illuma Lighting Celebrates 45 Years of Lighting the Way

Reaching 45 years in business is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of at Illuma Lighting. Now based in Castle Donington, we’ve spent more than four decades supplying reliable, high-quality lighting while building strong relationships across the industry. Since 1981, both our company and the lighting world have evolved significantly — and we’ve been glad to grow right alongside it.

 

 

Growth with Purpose

Illuma began as a focused, customer-driven business and has grown steadily by staying true to that approach. As technology has advanced, we’ve expanded our ranges and refined our processes to meet changing industry needs.

In 2006, Illuma joined forces with Searchlight, marking an important step in our journey. It strengthened our market presence, widened our product range, and allowed us to grow while staying true to our practical, customer-focused values.

Over the years, certain products and ranges have stood out for their reliability, performance, and popularity. From practical everyday fittings to more decorative designs, our goal has always been to provide lighting that works well and looks right for the space.

The move to LED technology was a major turning point, allowing us to offer longer-lasting, more efficient solutions while maintaining the quality our customers expect.
