Illuma makes a point at Light + Building

Joanna Weston's soft knife sculptures helped to put the Illuma stand at the cutting edge of design. Joanna, a Fine Arts graduate who works for the Sales and Marketing department, was delighted to be involved in such an incisive manner right from the start. Nicola Moore, the export manager commented ’ we were delighted with the response of visitors from all over the world. They loved the stand, thought our new products were great and were pleased to meet and talk to us face to face.'' She continued, ''our existing customers were impressed with the level of commitment that coming to Frankfurt represents.’

As first time exhibitors Illuma had over 400 visitors of which 80% were not from the UK. The stars of the show were undoubtedly the new Illumaled system products, for both the interior and exterior environments. The enthusiastic response completely validates the focus the company is giving to create meaningful lighting solutions using this fast emerging technology.

Eric Riley, Sales Director of Illuma said on the eve of the UK’s top specification lighting show. ‘It’s the best place you could want to be. We have a new catalogue, a great stand, some fantastic new products, and an influx of customers due to visit the stand.’

Eric, who has been with Illuma for a year, is excited about recent developments that have the full support of the new owners. ‘It is a rare situation when you can develop an expansive business strategy which is fully backed by financial resource and total commitment.’ And he goes on to say, ‘however, the best thing about it all is working with a great crowd of people who work hard, want to succeed, and are having fun!’

Illuma will also be exhibiting at the Frankfurt Light+Building 6-11 April.
