Award Winning Lighting Design at Illuma!

Lighting Sales Engineer, Ian McNeil has been awarded second place in the Student of the year award sponsored by ABACUS. A combination of hard work, knowledge and creativity have positioned Ian in the top two LIF students in the country.
As part of the LIF course, Ian produced an intelligent lighting design for an entire art college, presenting his design in London this week as part of the award ceremony. Ian comments,
'The course has enhanced my appreciation and knowledge in terms of Lighting Design, with the ability to speak with confidence and conviction'
Fellow colleagues Robert Lapworth (Lighting Designer) and Phill Sacre (Lighting sales Engineer) completed the course along side Ian, both achieving high grades and a richer understanding of Lighting Design from product through to application.
Phill enthuses,
'This knowledge will help me best advise my client and continue to place Illuma at the forefront of design and implementation'.
Intelligent lighting design is crucial to achieving optimum impact both in terms of aesthetic and performance. Through investing in knowledge and training, Illuma are certainly leading the way in light by design.
